Accent Obert is the new identity and digital space of the former .cat Foundation, which takes a step beyond the domain to become a civic infrastructure at the service of the digital ecosystem in Catalan. A place from which to explain the mission, projects and impact of an entity that works to make it possible to live fully in Catalan also in the digital world.

Accent Obert was born to go beyond the management of the .cat domain and consolidate itself as a civic infrastructure at the service of the Catalan-speaking community. The new website presents an organization that connects actors, promotes initiatives and transparently explains how it works to strengthen the presence of Catalan on the internet.
Four areas of action
Accent Obert's digital project very clearly structures the four main areas of work of the entity: defending the digital rights of the Catalan-speaking community, promoting digital creation in Catalan, facilitating digital tools in our language and managing infrastructures such as the .cat domain, a collective asset that continues to grow.
